The Space
Located directly off Highway 89 on 14 acres surrounded by BLM land, this deluxe private yurt is situated between Panguitch and Hatch, Utah, minutes from the junction of Scenic Highway 89 (The National Park Highway) and Scenic Byway 12. It is conveniently and centrally located between Bryce Canyon National Park, Kodachrome Basin State Park, and Zion National Park, and only an hour from Kanab (the Little Hollywood of Utah) and Best Friends Animal Sanctuary, and 2-1/2 hours from the north rim of the Grand Canyon. The Deluxe Yurt is one of a series of three separate yurts with expansive decks overlooking the Sevier River Valley and the red rock cliffs of Red Canyon and Wilson Peak.
You will have your own cozy private yurt with a queen bed in a private bedroom, a queen sofa bed in the living room, and a full bathroom with shower, tub, and washer/dryer. The space includes a kitchen with full-size refrigerator with ice maker, gas range, microwave, hot plate, and coffee maker. Perfect for one to four people.
A propane heater and a ceiling fan are in the room for guest comfort. There is a television with DVD player and satellite dish network. WiFi is included.
A variety of dining and shopping opportunities in the nearby towns of Hatch, Panguitch, and Bryce Canyon City are only five to twenty minutes away.
Neighborhood
Nearest amenities, including restaurants and gasoline, are in Hatch, four miles south on Hwy 89. A wider variety of restaurants, gasoline, and grocery shopping is available in Panguitch, 11 miles north on Hwy 89, or in Bryce Canyon City, about half an hour east on Hwy 12. Some nearby restaurants are closed on Sundays. Most nearby restaurants close fairly early, 8pm or 9pm. There are no 24-hour convenience stores in close proximity.
The nearest large chain retail stores (i.e. WalMart, Smith's Grocery) and fast food restaurants (i.e. McDonalds, Taco Time, etcetera) are located 1-1/2 hours away in Cedar City (west to Interstate 15) or Richfield (north on Hwy 89).

Transportation
There is no public transportation available in Hatch or Panguitch. You will need your own vehicle. Bicyclists do tour the National Parks Highway, although Highway 89 is a very busy highway in the summer. Guest parking is on our wide gravel driveway, which can accommodate moderately-sized RV's.
