Visiting Zion National Park can be very crowded during the summer in June, July, and August. It's important to know you'll have to park and then take a shuttle bus to the hikes you're interested in during those months. Taking the bus isn't bad but waiting for the bus can troublesome with long lines and hot temperatures so, expect to lose a couple hours just parking and getting a bus if you go during peak daytime hours 9am - 5pm. The best recommendation I have for you is, go early before 8am, or even better visit during the spring in March or April, or during the fall in October or November. My personal favorite hike is Angels Landing, even if you don't make it all the way to the top, the view on this trail amazing the entire way up.
