WILLIS CREEK NARROWS

SIGHTSEEING

Willis Creek Slot Canyon Trail with 4 stretches of Narrows

37.1 miles (55 minutes) to Willis Creek from Hwy 89/Hwy12 Junction

Willis Creek is a slot canyon with 4 stretches of narrows, note the last two narrows are the highest and narrowest. I think this is a great family hike, kids love the tiny creek stream that flows along this trail. It's also flat and easy for older people to hike through. Take a right turn onto the dirt road when you see the sign for Cottonwood Road and Skutumpah Road. Note the dirt road is about 7 miles long until you reach the parking lot. Takes about 2-3 hours in total, recommend combining with a visit to Kodachrome Basin which is nearby.
