My husband David and I moved to southern Utah in September of 2015 with our four cats. We bought a former art gallery situated on almost 14 acres that includes three yurts and a barn. We fell in love with the views of the Paunsaugunt red cliffs, Red Rock Canyon, and the Sevier River winding through the valley. We love hiking in the many nearby national and state parks.
My husband is a former elementary school special education teacher and I worked in social services for 27 years before taking an early retirement.
We love to travel, and have visited much of the U.S., as well as several countries, including Australia, China, Costa Rica, Thailand, Canada, and the UK.
For the past four years I managed vacation rentals for my neighbors in Hawaii. I loved meeting the guests from all over the United States and the world. I told my husband that this is the ideal job for me, and I am excited to be able to share our new vacation rental properties in southern Utah with others!

Aloha, I currently live in Hawaii on the island of Oahu. Professionally I'm a software programmer but when I'm off work I enjoy going to the beach (kite-boarding), mountain biking, and coaching soccer. I'm into anything sports related and love being outdoors. The thing I miss most about living in Hawaii is skiing and snowboarding in Oregon where I grew up.
In 2017 I purchased 3 properties in Southern Utah. The first is the Off Grid Cabin in Rock Canyon. This cabin is located on a private 15 acre parcel surrounded by BLM State Lands. The second property is the Zion * Bryce Hi-Tech Cabin, it is a more traditional home located near the corner of Hwy 14 and Hwy 89. It rests on a 1.2 acre parcel surrounded by Ponderosa Pine Trees. The third property is River View Estates which was empty land/lot when I purchase it. In April 2018 I spent 25 days developing this lot, constructing two 24x24 deck platforms for the Running Deer TIPI and Soaring Hawk TIPI.
I love Southern Utah, this area is surrounded by some of the most amazing National Parks in the United States. For me living most of the year in Hawaii, Utah is my get away from the islands, the heat, and the humidity. Utah is completely different from Hawaii but just as beatiful. With so many fun things to do here like mountain biking, ATV riding, and trail hiking, what's not to love about this place and the experiences a person can enjoy in Utah.
